Rest and Sleep
Rest is important for young children. They must have a period of calm and quiet to help them rest for more activities during the day. Therefore, all children have a nap/quiet time.
Depending on the age, children of this age typically nap between 1-2.5 hours. However, children are not forced to sleep. Rather, they are gently coaxed to sleep. Older children that are out of the napping age will enjoy some quiet time.
